Successful transformations are rare, that’s why we love them. It’s inspiring to see someone transform their body and their life because we know it takes a certain somethin-somethin in order to get there. We respect the hard work.

But what do they actually require? It’s not the training program, the diet, or the gym they go to that makes them special.

Successful transformations require…

Consistency

I always preach about consistency because that’s what gets shit done. You can have the best program, trainer, gym, and diet in the universe but if you can’t do what needs to get done on a daily basis then you will not see the results you’re looking for. Simple as that. Our bodies respond to rhythm. Rhythm is habit. Habit is consistency.

Persistence

Consistency is easy when conditions are predictable, but life isn’t always predictable. You had to work late, your friends are going out, it’s someone’s birthday, you’re going on a trip. Shit happens. Life happens. The people who are going to be able to stay consistent are the ones with thick skin. You’re going to be tired, you’re going to be hungry, accept it and keep moving because after all is said and done you’re going to be successful.

Love

Love? Yes. At the base of everything you have to love what you do. You have to love what you want at the end of the road. If you don’t then you can bet that you’ll fail. You need to have pride in what you’re trying to achieve and the kind of person that makes you. All the motivation and persistence stems from loving the goal and the process.
